Day 31: Six little ducks lining in a row.

With only a scant three episodes left (counting, of course, this one), you would think that the six left would stay true to the Survivor mantra: "Trust no one."

Try and follow me here. Christa and Sandra witnessed potential bootee Jon become the booter with T out of the game. Sandra says that they didn't look at the bigger picture, as she and Christa begin to second-guess their alignment with the erstwhile Jonny Fairplay. "I don't know whether or not to believe him, because I can't believe him ever." I've been holding back a while, but Christa, for a computer programmer, you're not that freaking smart.

And once again, Jon reminds us that "promises are like wicker furniture and fat women, easily broken by Jonny Fairplay."

End result, Sandra and Christa are starting to gel, but what of Darrah? Sandra invites her to go get some firewood, where she reveals that she wants the guys out. I want the guys to go, yeah, uh-huh, you understand what I'm saying, yeah, uh-huh. Darrah shows us how simple she really is as she is allotted more face time than she's ever gotten this series: "Sandra's already talking to me this mornin'. I'm sure there're gonna be lots more people comin' up to me, tryin' to sway votes and stuff. I'm just gonna play it, let 'em come up to me and see what's goin' on, and then I'll decide what I'm goin' to do after that."

Meanwhile, Burton catches another ray (still alive and hanging) while Jon gets seamail:

"It's nice to be pampered; for you, it's been a while.
Refresh yourself inside and out; we're talking life in style!
This luxurious reward you'll really want to get.
But if you move too slowly, all you'll get is wet."

R-CHALLENGE: Water Obstacle Course (for 24 hours at a spa and swimsuits from their original packs)

Two teams of three compete (Sandra, Christa, and Burton vs. Darrah, Lill, and Jon). The first player balances on a beam and swims to two paddles which need to be untied. The second player must release three floating buoys. The third player joins the other two to retrieve a boat on shore. Together, they must row back to the beginning. First team to do that wins.

Sandra struggles with her fear of water while Darrah flips her top on a dive. Darrah's team pulls into a big lead, but Jon's crew has a hard time with their boat. Meanwhile, we see more of Christa than previously planned (or less, thanks to the blur-out). They get to Burton's stage, but it's too little, too late, as Lill, Jon, and a still topless Darrah go from one boat to another.

And from there we go to a plane, and from a plane, we go to a spa, where Jon utters the first truth out of his mouth: "Words can't describe just how big this place is, it's just ocean ocean ocean ocean. And then there're the biggest islands you've ever seen and the smallest islands you've ever seen."

They arrive at the spa, where they check themselves out in the mirror. Lill is ragged, Darrah was losing weight, and Jon... was talking to Lill about the "final two" right before healing his "war wounds". Never trust a man who has slicked back hair.

Then it's off to a massage and eye cucumbers.

Back at the camp, Sandra and Christa reveal to Burton that Jon had promised them a berth in the final four. But is it a part of a more sinister plan? According to Burton, who wants to be beside Jon at the final Tribal, yes. "I don't want to piss them off, because I want to be the one they vote for." Sandra notes that if it wasn't for them, he wouldn't even still be here. "The first chance I get to send him home, he's going home." Burton's rebuttal: "The only time you see where someone really stands is at Tribal Council."

Back at the spa, it's dinner and strength rebuild. And silk pajamas. Lill was getting pissed about Jon being "the guy in charge". And for good reason, since Jon played the women by secretly promising both that they were going to end up in the final with him, once again, playing the dead grandmother skein.

Day 32: Christa ponies with another horse.

Christa and Burton talk strategy. She wants to try to get rid of Darrah should she not win immunity. Burton really thinks that Christa would stab Sandra in the Tribal. Burton gives her his word that he'll try to help her get rid of Sandra.

Okay, now I'm confused.

Back at the spa, breakfast and strength rebuild. Jon gives the ladies his word that each woman will get into the final with him. Darrah, more so than Lill. "I see Survivor as a game of human chess," he says. Darrah meanwhile believes that Jon is telling her the truth despite his rep. And the pawns are moving more slowly into checkmate as we speak.

The lucky threesome returns to camp. Jon starts to spin yarns on the spa. Much to Lill's disdain.

Oh yeah, and Jon and Burton reiterating that Lill was a suicide in the final Tribal. So who's next? Jon places a Bullseye on Christa. Burton places a Bullseye on Jon unknowingly and more long-term.

Night 32: Second thoughts.

Lill and Burton start talking. Lill thinks that Burton is having second thoughts about their original alliance. She sees her only hope in getting immunity.

Day 33:

I-CHALLENGE: Musket Love

Again like every other elimination via pecking order game, except... well, not. Shoot a musket in the general direction of your targets. Shoot down all three, and immunity is yours. Darrah, the little crack shot and hell cat that she is, goes one, two, three on the musket, wielding the sword of power for another round.

Christa is bummed about not winning immunity on yet another close call. And this was despite her never having fired a gun in her life. So once again, she and Sandra are jockeying for a piece of that alliance dollar, and are wanting Burton gone. Darrah says otherwise, thinking so far in advance that no one will win a vote against Lill. They all agree to get rid of her. Lill agrees with Jon (who believes that the world's five most nave people are still in this game) and Burton, meanwhile, that Christa is the one to go tonight. What does Christa have to say about this? "Trust is nothing. Lying is the way to go out here. Everybody has done it, and everybody has done it well."

Night 33: Tribal Council.

Rhino, Rupert, and T watch on as Jon is ever hopeful. "Everyone hopes their alliances will hold. Everyone hopes that their alliance partners are telling the truth." Burton thinks that trust must be abandoned to win. Two words, dude. Ethan Zohn. Sandra couldn't bear to go against Lill in the final, because "everyone loves Lill." Question of the night: "Confident in your alliances?"

Sandra: Yes.

Jon: Yes.

Lill: Yes.

Darrah: Yes.

Burton: Yes.

Christa: Yes.

"You all trust each other. You have no idea what the vote's going to be." You know, ever since Jeff became a producer, he's been showing his ass a lot. Onto the voting.

Jon (obscured), as Ric Flair... again: "Whether you like it or not like it, learn to love it, because it's the best thing going today. WHOO!"

Christa (also obscured): "Hopefully everyone is doing the same thing and voting for you."

Sandra (LIL(l)): "You've treated me with kindness, but this is totally a strategic move, because I'd hate to go up against you. You're too much of a kind person and I know they'd just hand you the money and I can't have that. Adios."

And the rest of the count:

Burton: CHRISTA

Lill: CHRISTA

Darrah: CHRISTA (a last-second turn to Jon's favor)

And the hidden votes...

Jon: CHRISTA

Christa: LILL

Four to two, and Christa gets some me time with Rupert at the losers' lodge. Christa, THE TRIBE HAS SPOKEN.
