Day 10: Let's flashback to Oz for a moment.

An exotic river is one which appears after a rainstorm in the desert, as Colby and his crew learned not more than three or so years ago. Now, we don't have any deserts in Panama, but let's just apply the principle here, shall we? Rickety old shaft of a hut + tide = eep. All of a sudden, the Morgan are fighting the tide with whatever they have left (which is, as Jeff stated in the beginning and as proven by tribal loots, not much), but the dike doesn't seem to be holding. All of a sudden, a scoutmaster isn't that darn much of a hinder, is it? But who needs a scoutmaster when you have... Savage Andrew. "I think it's us against everything else out here. Against the surf, against the mosquitoes, against the crabs, against the fire ants. Everything."

And who needs an actual dike when you have repartee from the master of all he surveys. Another example: "We desperately need fish." Notice how we never really see Andrew do anything. Oh yeah, that dragnet. Forgot about that.

R-CHALLENGE: Float-it Notes (a sewing machine and supplies, one piece of treasure map; one free pilfer from the opposing tribe's camp).

Sixteen puzzle pieces are scattered at the beach and under the sea. As soon as you find those pieces, you get to putting them together. First team to do so wins. If you discount the slippage of Darrah's mask, it's a dead heat in the opening, as Burton and Rhino pick up their first pieces. But then... Naked... Naked Tijuana naked... Anyway, things are going swimmingly until Osten, knowing full well that he can't swim worth a d(^_^), decides to take the dive. All of a sudden, he remembers that a) he can at least tread water long enough to spot a piece, and b) he can't swim. Osten's lord and savior Savage goes in and rescues, while the Drake get all sixteen (even with Trish the Dish's stumble on the beach) and get the victory... AGAIN.

In case you haven't noticed, Osten's either a) throwing the challenges on purpose, b) is a real idiot, or c) all of the above and then some, Sherlock.

Day 11: A-lootin' they will go... again.

Speaking of Trish, that's exactly who's coming up at Morgan Island for her requisite plunder. T welcomes the stranger with open arms. Too open, as Trish makes off with one lantern that, according to Darrah, who gets a little more than her usual second and a half of screen time, "we prolly ruined it by putting cooking oil in it, so it prolly don't work". That's all I could get from her, as even 12 years isn't enough for a displaced Californian to pick up a Southern drawl as deep as hers.

And where are Savage and Rhino during this? On set with the other American Gladiators (no, just kidding. They're fishing. Or so they say, as they get lost looking for a decent fishing hole. Here's an idea, you can't fish in the jungle). Eventually they found the other side of the island, but it isn't the fishing hole that they were looking for. "Majorly frustrating for us. We need fish... badly. We don't have any energy, we don't have any water: phenomenally frustrating," says Andrew.

Day 12: (WLTI mailbox: "Booty call for Morgan!")

"Familiar with the game of checkers? Familiar with the game of chess?
Heard of professional wrestling? Combined make a worthy test.
Formulating strategies, take some time to think.
To avoid the next Tribal Council, send your opponent in the drink."

Full contact Quoridor? ROCK! Well, no, but it's pretty close, minus the whole wall thing.

I-CHALLENGE: Block Party

In a strange combination of Chinese checkers, Battle Chess, and that challenge where Robb Z. almost killed someone in Thailand, you have a giant playfield with floating platforms. The object is for all members of the tribe to get from one side to the other. If opposing tribesmen meet, they must battle. Loser gets wet AND goes back to start. Not only will the winning team be immune from Tribal tonight, but will get a secret reward.

Rupert, Trish, and Burton all sit out. Which I personally think is cockamamie bulldink, but that's Gordon's island. We all start at the same time, but the Morgan make it easy. Too easy. More than just a little too easy, as they coast to victory.

Dude, did I just say that? Yes, I did, as the Morgan remain silent in their first claim to the skull-and-battleaxe. But what about their reward? Jeff explains that the Morgan can now capture one Drake to live with them until the next Reward Challenge, as well as participate as a Morganite in said challenge and share in that reward should they win. They make no bones about it. They want Hagrid. So Rupert is taken hostage in the Morgan boat back to Morgan Island.

Normally, I wouldn't post this, but Rupert had the coolest line of the night, regarding Burton wanting to throw this challenge: "He's a traitor, and if this was a real pirate culture, he'd already be dead."
