Now there's a fine mess you've gotten us into.

After doing so beautifully well for the first three episodes, we went downhill when Burton decided to throw an immunity challenge. That we did - and then 2 more challenges went by the boards too. Call it the Pepper curse.

We will soon find out about another curse - the Curse of the Pearl Islands.

(Oooooooooooooooooooh).

On the night before Halloween, too. How appropriate.

(Oooooooooooooooooooooooooooh).

It was a dark and stormy night - well maybe not stomy - but angry. 'Who the HELL voted for me?' says Rupert. Jon says he did - and probably immediately regretted it as Rupert went after him like a mad rhino. 'I'm out there kicking my g-ddamn ass to get you fish and you f*cking turn the tribe against me.' Jon tried to put it on Trish, but Rupert isn't buying what Jon is selling and they get into it.

Jon and Rupert talk it over - and Jon does successfully convince RUpert that he thought that Rupert would turn on him. Rupert is ok for now, but 2 things have occured - 1. Jon neither forgives or forgets Rupert and will try to turn on him, and 2. Rupert, at the next available opportunity, wants Jon out.

Maybe the Sea Mail will change people's atitudes - but Rupert is afraid that everyone is assuming that there will be some sort of merge - and Rupert thinks that Burnett and company are a little smarter than that. We will find out that he is more correct than even he knows...

The most important reward for which your tribe will compete.
Needs you to work togeter and to think on your feet
It's better than steak and lobster - it's the sweetest victory that you'll know
But if the other tribe gets it, it will seem a painful blow.

Speaking of painful blows, we get Jon involved in another blow-up. This time, he's talking to the group interms of getting a coconut and eating out of it - and and Jon and Shawn are yapping. Shawn is the only person who doesn't want to eat the coconut, and they then proceed to curse each other out. This is the most important challenge yet, determining the fate of the tribe, and here we are, worrying about a damn coconut. 'Let them vote each other or kill each other off.' says Sandra, and right now, I share her thought exactly.

We get a set of keys, and we're all thinking that it's going to be an escape challenge. It is - but who will be escaping? Uncle Jeffy tells us that throughout the series, we have voted out whatever people we wanted to for whatever reasons - but the one thing that they have in common is that they are out of the game....until now.

Until now??????? At this point I realize that there are cages - THREE of them, meaning that there is room fora third tribe. And here they come - the OUTCASTS - made up of the 6 people that were in the game and got booted - Nicole, Ryan, Trish, Lil, Burton and Michelle. How do they feel about it? Well, I think Ryan's 'Die Jerks' on the bandana says it all. 'Revenge, Baby' says Michelle, 'It's all about revenge.'

So how do they get it? Simple - The teams do have to get out of the cage. In another relay race, one person gets the team flag and digs their way into the cage. He then unties people as we go along and attempts to get out by creating a pole, which will go outside the cage and grab a key which will unlock the cell. The first team completely out with the flag wins immunity.

So what is the most important prize of all? Your continued existance in the game. For each tribe the Outcasts beats, they have to go to Tribal Council and boot someone out of their tribe. If the Outcasts come in first, then BOTH Morgan and Drake loses a tribe member and the Outcasts vote one person each. To add insult to injury, they get automatic immunity for the next Tribal Council, so you can't send them out as fast as they come in.

'On the flip side, if you are the 10 most worthy survivors, then there should be no trouble.' says Jeff, who says that the people have had limited food rations to make it more fair - but it's not completely fair - the outcasts haven't had to worry about their own camp, as it's been built for them, so they should have more energy than either tribe.

But enough of my complaining - away we go. The outcasts, as to be exoected, have more energy and take the early lead. Drake now catches up and we take the lead going into the last cage. We have our pole built up and we get ont of the 2 keys needed to open up the last cage. On the final key, our pole breaks apart. While we are fixing it, the Outcasts get the final key - and the Outcasts win the competition!

The outcats win - which means that we have to go back to Tribal Council. Rupert, Sandra and Christa is shocked at the Outcast tribe - and they are pissed at both Shawn and Jon for splintering them. 'Well, somebody has to go home - who wants to volunteer?' jokes Sandra, but Osten isn't in this tribe - he's in the other one.

Rupert, Sandra and Christa know that they have the majority, and they are upset with both of them - so they pull a mini-tribal council and have both Jon and Shawn plead for the gaming lives. Shawn accuses Jon of playing everybody. Jon says that he's a much harder worker then Shawn.

Who does the tribe want to stick around? We meet Uncle Jeffy - nd Rupert is already moaning that they have been there fo 2 days in a row (and 4 times in the past 10 days, but who's counting). Sandra is scared that Burton will show back up in camp - and actually, almost all of them are a little intimidated by that prospect. Shawn says that the tribe needs to stick together - and my opinion is 'NOW you are thinking this???' Jon says that he preaches loyalty.

With that, it's time to vote. Shawn votes for Jon, who can't stand his backstabbing. Jon votes for Shawn and says 'F*ck You'. That's a succint way to put it - and apparently everyone else wants to f*ck Shawn, because that's who everyone else voted for. Shawn, the tribe has spoken - and they say that you're f*cked.

But it may be the whole tribe that's f*cked. There is no unity whatsoever, and it seems like this is a tribe just ripe to be Pagonged. We'll see who joins the ranks of the outcasts - and what outcasts joins the ranks of the current players - next week.
