'Chuay Gahn is in a position do to what we want'. That came from Ted, and he's right, as this starts the 'Let's pick off Sook Jai tribe' trilogy. While Sook Jai is at tribal council, the rest of Chuay Gahn is making fun of Sook Jai, from Ken's accent to Penny's cheerleading. But they do reveal the origins of the sort of mysterious vote from last week. Penny figured that Jake and Ken weren't going to vote each other off, so she had to switch to back-stab Erin to keep her own hide on the island.

So the Sookies come back - and Chuay Gahn notices that Erin is gone. They figure that it would either be Erin or Ken that is the first member of the jury. Sook Jai could try to get something going in terms of possible alliance busting, but this is the tribe in the no-brain department, so the rest of the show will probably be spent trying to convince you that someone other than Ken will be voted off tonight.

'I have to figure out the best way that I can fit in'. says Jake. Unbeknownst to him, his method - telling tales about his previous experiences, isn't working. 'Everyone in the group is sick of his Roy Rogers tales...if he thinks we're biting that, he's crazy.' mutters Clay, as he's wondering if Jake and Jan can get together and form their own tribe - on the other side of the island.

But that, ironically, is the right strategy. The women of Chuay Gahn are on the outside, looking in, and the Sookies would be doing well to try to get them on their side. Unfortunately, they are not doing that - they are trying to convince the men, the core of the group, to turn on each other. That strategy will work as well as selling snow at the North Pole.

The next morning - Uncle Jeffy gathers everyone around to a vcr/tv unit and shows a snippet of tape from each contestant's loved one -

Jake - his wife, Jenny
Brian - his wife C.C., and son, Logan
Jan - her kids Lisa, Keller and William
Clay - linda and Shannon, his wife and daughter
Helen - James (husband) and Kiki (daughter) - and the family cat
Ken - his mom and brother Rob
Penny - Matt's fiance, and friends Shannon, Colleen, Ashley, and Will and a dog in the middle of the screen
Ted - his wife and newborn daughter (I know there's a Ghandia reference in here somewhere, but I'm not going to touch that).

The reward is that the winning person gets to see the full tape. That means that the reward challenge is now individual - which also means that the tribe has now merged, Everyone has gold buffs instead of the original orange and purple ones they previously had.

But the challenge is still based as teamwork. 2 people are randomly paired up as a team as they take a wicker ball through an obstacle course. The winning pair will then compete against each other as they create a pyramid of wicker balls.

Heat 1 - Ken and Clay Vs. Jake and Jan
Let's see - the 2 elders vs. 2 of the Alpha Males left in the game. Can we say mismatch? Clay and Ken easily leave Jake and Jan in the dust and advance to the finals.

Heat 2 - Brian and Helen Vs. Ted and Penny
This one is a bit closer, but Brian and Helen have the teamwork pattern with the ball going while Ted and Penny struggle with the ball. Brian and Helen advance.

Final Heat - Brian and Helen Vs. Clay and Ken
Brian and Clay take the lead - but they get stymied by the net that you have to pass a wicker ball through. Brian and Helen have no such problems, so they win the obstacle course.

In the head to head challenge - the survivors get 7 pieces of ball segments that they have to create a pyramid out of. Brian rearranges his pyramid first, so he wins and gets to see the whole clip of his team.

Of course, being the nice guy that he is, he is nice enough to share his drink with the rest of the tribe. Awwwwwbarf. Brian's wife shares the rest of his house - and her body. 'She kept the clothes on, which I was happy about, but I didn't want everyone to know more about me than they should.' Like the collection of porno movies?

Brian's wife C.C. shows everyone the house - the piano and the 2 brand new cars, which sort of upsets Helen. "If I was against Brian right now, that would be enough to vote him off, because I'd be going 'This guy doesn't need the money'."

Back to camp we go - our new camp name is Tarutao. Jan and Helen are chatting about recipes - or just chatting about anything. Ted, sick of the chatting Cathys, decides that he wants to go out on his own and spend some 'real good quality me time'. Jake tries to take this as some real good quality lets plan to get rid of Ted time. Clay and Brian are starting to talk about getting Ted on the Jury, and Jake is sensing that. The question is, does Clay mean to get rid of him now or save him for later on in the game? Jake tells everyone on the tribe to vote for Ted.

But before we get to Ted, we go to the immunity challenge. the first part of the game is a memory game. People have 30 seconds to memorize a chart with a conversion of english numbers and the Thai sign representation. They will then be tested on it. If you get one wrong, you're out. Clay and Ken are the last 2 people left for the first part of the challenge.

For the second part, there are a set of sand mounds. Buried under the mounds are instructions on which of the mounds hold the next clue. The catch - the numbers are in Thai - the same Thai numbers that they memorized in the first stunt. Each instruction has a marker sheet on it. The first person to get 10 markers wins immunity.

Ken is a cop, so he should be good at reading instructions, right? Wrong. Ken keeps digging up wrong mound after wrong mound, and Clay gets three before Ken gets his first one. Clay wins the bizarre looking immunity necklace in a 10-3 rout, and Ken's loss here will signify his departure from this game.

'Our strategy now is to get rid of the strength, or the potential strength of Sook Jai' explains Ted. 'We have to bring one over, or we're screwed.' counters Jake, who wants to change strategy and go after Brian - but they keep it at ted. but the strategy was screwed up to begin with when they tried to break the old boys network - instead of going after the girls, who's position is heavily compromised thanks to the old boy's network.

It's now time for the jury - and Erin is watching and wondering on who will be joining her. Jake and Ken are hoping that it would be a Chuay Gahner, but Chuay Gahn's - and Clay's - true colors are revealed as the tribe votes unified - against Ken. Sook Jai does cast their three votes for Ted - but it's meaningless against 5 Ken votes. In the words of Clay, 'You have to get rid of the strong to keep going'. And Ken will be going back to NYC - and maybe put Clay under arrest for fraudulent voting.

As for the next 2 episodes, the only question will be does Penny or Jake get voted out first, since they don't seem nearly smart enough to realize that their only chance of survival is to bond with the group that they have shunned out - the ladies. So barring either Penny or Jake winning immunity in episode 11, wake me up when we get to episode 12. Good Night. ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz........
