Night 12: Notice... No Screaming...

Day 16: Seriously, Dude... Where's My Boat?

It's a long swim to the watering hole. Helen and Jan did most of the swimming while Ted just stood back on Chuay Gahn Beach yelling "Did you see it yet?" We discover an island across the way, and Clay, Brian, and Ted, in a last ditch effort to find the boat, swam to the tune of CBS News to search behind said island. Unfortunately, the grueling search was in vain. Well, not really. The guys decide to stay there. Then they decide that they can't because they'd probably get lost trying to get back to Games Beach. "I don't think anyone wants to talk about that boat no more," Clay said. Agreed. Let's get to a challenge, shall we?

R-CHALLENGE: Wicker Flicker (for a feast and a surprise... consisting of Thai culture at its finest)

The Thais have a game that involves catching balls in a basket while trying to prevent the opponents from catching theirs. That's basically what the challenge is. First to five balls wins. On the Chuay Gahn side, "Big Ted" was once again channeling the gorilla within, throwing elbows a la the Christina Aguilera music video. You know, the one banned in Thailand? His elbows help the Orangemen rally from a four-to-nothing deficit. On the other side, Robb's back must have been tired, because he was carrying the team all game, catching all four of the initial launches and then getting the winning catch.

Magilla welcomes back the tribe from their incredibly close defeat. Ted is incredibly distressed about the outcome, especially given the fact that they gave "a hundred and. million percent". That would be. a lot. I don't think such a number exists. "Hey, this is what we need to do to win! It was a heartfelt loss. I'm assuming that the other team is going to a Thai-style festival. Whatever it is, it has to be better than coming back here and pulling clams off of rocks."

Day 17: Sunrise, sunset, sunrise, sunset...

Ted said that "I suspect that a merger is going to happen real soon." Immunity, at this point, is crucial. "If we can win immunity just one more time, they will have to come down to. Then it will be just like starting over again," Ted said. Brian, on the other hand, is reiterating the alliance that he and Ted made. "If anyone does find out, it could bite us. It could ruin our game plan for the rest of the game," Ted said.

Meanwhile, Jan finds a dead bat. She told the others to set up a funeral service. Brian said, "I don't know if that's just Jan being emotional or if she is actually losing it a little bit out here." Her defense: "I know it's silly, but I feel sorry for him out there!" She cried all the way through. So the count thus far, two chickens, a sea-full of crabs, and a bat. Now available at the nearest Red Lobster.

Tree mail after the recessional:

"21: a game of luck? Not here in this place.
If you're mind's not sharp enough, you could be gone without a trace."

Sorry to tell you that Anthony LaPaglia is nowhere to be found, so you're on you own.

Without a Trace, Thursdays on CBS, it's all here! (doo-doooo-DOOO!)

I-CHALLENGE: Thai 21

The setup: 21 flags in a circle. The goal: be the tribe carrying the final flag. The twist: tribe members can only carry one, two, or three flags per turn. The strategy: how many flags to grab and when to grab them? Sook Jai grabs two. Chuay Gahn grabs two. Sook Jai takes two more. Chuay Gahn takes one. Sook Jai takes one and Chuay Gahn takes one. Sook Jai takes one. Chuay Gahn takes two, leaving nine. Sook Jai takes three, leaving six. Chuay Gahn takes two, leaving four. And that's pretty much all she wrote. They get the final flag and El Green Lady. As well as...
