Night 6: Sleeping in the Bat-Cave-O-Love...

Okay. Three challenges down, but morale is still high. So high, in fact, that the team decides to huddle up in the Cave-o-Love. I guess Ted was right; they really are family. Clay justifies, "It was an immediate bond. The personalities didn't clash, they clicked. We are a family." Then comes Ted and Ghandia getting a bit closer... and closer... and closer still. Ghandia that night: "It's kinda like my husband's here with me chillin'. He's so good to hug! He's just cool!" Ghandia the next morning: "I feel depressed and used. Last night, Ted put his arm around me and pulled me into him, and I was okay with that in the beginning. But he kind of got sexual. Basically, he was grinding against me." Note to self... If I want to get a little bling bling... dont do that.

I think I speak for everyone in the world when I say... cue the sunrise shot.

Day 7: Umm.. About last night...

Ted and Ghandia were basically talking about last night in the scene of the crime (funny, CSI doesnt start for another 45 minutes). Ted explained clearly, understandingly, and in proper usage of the Kings English that in his sleep he mistook her for his wife, and that he never intentionally meant to make any sexual advances toward her, apologizing profusely. They share an embrace, and alls right with the world, until... another challenge comes in the mail.

R-CHALLENGE: Pilfering Pirates (Two Red Berets Special Forces Soldiers)

Both tribes must race along a narrow bamboo course over water, snatching treasures at their leisure. Catch: at the center of the course was a Contact Zone where there could be man-to-man combat. First tribe to steal ten baskets would win. It wasnt really much of a challenge as much as it was watching Sook Jai penalize themselves not more than four times, and watching Ted grunt as he pushed over several Sook Jai. End result: the first Chuay Gahn victory.

Ted explained the new-found optimism in the tribe, saying "I knew that the Red Berets were the equivalent to our Green Berets in the U.S., so I knew they would teach us how to get food and help our survival overall.

Close to Night 7: Fighting soldiers from the sea... brave young men, here for money.

The Red Berets arrived and went straight to work, carving bamboo, finding food, and making a feast out of things that were literally all around the island. Ever try to eat pureed leaves? You can do that! "The Red Berets said you can eat it. So if it's edible, we are eating it," Helen went on. Which begs the question. Helen was a former Navy SEAL, so how come SHE doesnt know about these? But enough about them... Meanwhile... Ghandia decided abruptly not to accept the earlier apology by Ted, saying that "he made me feel like such a piece of trash. Now I feel that I need to stick with the women." Ghandia tried to broker a deal with Helen and Jan. Meanwhile, Helen tried to get Brian in on the action, adding that "I am just letting you know that the three of us are going to take him out next time." Brian, wanting to hear all the possible angles, asked Ted to tell his side. Ted explained, "A mistake happened and I rectified it. Nothing happened. Ghandia was making an issue that was very small, and could have been handled in a professional, one-on-one manner, and has exploded it into an issue that goes beyond this game."

Further down the beach, an enraged Ghandia can be heard screaming and throwing stuff a la Bobby Knight.

I think its time for a group hug, and by a group hug, I mean a group meeting so we can hear what the hecks going on with these two. The fight, 49 percent of which we cannot repeat on this site because of its graphic content (and the fact that the censors (no audio) bleeped it out), ended unresolved.

To quote Vee Towery, the winner of Survivor Marquesas, theres just too much DRAMA here!

I-CHALLENGE: Temple Transfer

Using three planks, the players must transfer their temple from plank one to plank three without stacking lower pieces of the temple higher (translation: The bottom piece stays on the bottom). First team to do so wins. After watching Sook Jai bungle several calls, the Chuay Gahn took it patiently to grab the green lady.
