So was Chico right?  Will it be back-to-back Kim kick-offs?  Let's find out.

This episode has three main themes as dawn breaks on Day 34:  rewards, immunity, and strategy, as the final four are decided.

Survivor Master Mark Burnett knows how to make these Survivors long for home just when they'd rather not -- last week he gave them video glimpses of their families -- this week, they get letters.  The best part:  they didn't have to do anything to get them...and they ALL get to see them.  Everyone's emotional -- Lex is glad to hear from his kids; Teresa's pleased to read a note from her ailing father; and KJ is driven to tears by an unexpected poem.

Then, in Gross Moment #1, we see a present left by some elephant friends...right in the Survivors' water hole.  And Tom remarks that KJ's been washing her clothes -- and herself -- in that 'polluted' water for days.  Yummy....

But even with this instant reward...there's more...and it may be the biggest reward of all.  We don't yet know what it is, but here's a thought...Colby won that Pontiac Aztek...nobody here's won a car yet...so could this be the car challenge?

This one's mental.  No, not that kind of mental...though 35 days enclosed in a small circle in the middle of nowhere should be enough to drive anyone looney...

The Survivors will have to unscramble a dozen eggs... er, no... a dozen words.  Each word connects to another word (or two).  The connecting letters then can be unscrambled to form the reward.

Lex takes an early lead...and never looks back as he unscrambles "Avalanche."  And yes, it's a $30,000+ Chevy Avalanche.  He'll take that home...somehow...  but Mark Burnett / CBS / the powers that be have finally decided to give something back for coming into a poor, disease-ridden country with this wonderful show.  A 'charity hospital' has been set up in Kenya, and the back of the Avalanche (and the truck the Survivors rode in on) are filled with medical supplies for this hospital.

Jeff and Lex go to the hospital, deliver the supplies, and visit the pediatric ward.  A very touching moment in an often backstabbing game.

But back to the game now.  Gross Moment #2:  We learn that Tom has the smelliest shoes and feet in the world.  Another tidbit you wouldn't know if it weren't for Survivor.

It's time for immunity.  And it's time for a second chance.  This means replaying portions of several past challenges...including the puzzle challenge and the bow and arrow challenge.  As with the reward challenge, Lex takes an early lead and never looks back AGAIN, throwing everyone's hopes into chaos.

So who will stay, and who will go?

Teresa fesses up to Lex about the 'mystery vote'... and whether that's the reasoning or not...it's a unanimous vote.  Teresa's going to the jury...and that leaves, as Jeff likes to say when prompted... "4 People, 3 Days, 2 Immunity Challenges, 1 Survivor."

Join Chico next week for the end of Africa.  (Isn't that a movie?)
