 Fifteen
college students will compete for $50,000 and a
new car in the annual tournament, shot this year
on the campus of one of the prime destinations
for the best and brightest young scholars, Yale.

Guaranteed for the winner of this tournament is
$50,000, to be matched in scholarships to the
winner's school, and a new Volvo S60R. Also
waiting for the victor is a berth in the 2004
Tournament of Champions. The first
runner-up receives $25,000 at least, while the
second runner-up wins at least $15,000.
Semifinalists are guaranteed at least $5000,
while quarterfinalists are guaranteed $2500. The GSNN ShortShots crew will document the bracket
here, from the first category to the final Final
