The best and the brightest of the past year and a half of Jeopardy! have returned for one final showdown to determine who will have the right to be called champion and quarter-millionaire.

Among the probables to the throne are a recent record-breaker in Brian Weikle, a friend to the game show community in Ben Tritle, college champion Kyle Hale, and twelve other bright notables such as Kathy Cassity, Mark Brown, and Eric Floyd. Here you will see archived matches, commentary, and a bracket to chart the progress of the tournament. Who knows, maybe your favorite will rise above the others and earn $250,000 and bragging rights for at least a year.

As the top purse has expanded, so have the rest of the prizes. The second place winner is now guaranteed at least $50,000 and third-place is ensured $25,000. Semifinalists are guaranteed at least $10,000, while all tournament players are guaranteed $5000 for participating. Any and all monies, as always, depend on how far the player moves up the bracket. At stake, over $400,000 in cash will be given away in the course of two weeks.
