WELCOME TO MY HOME PAGE

MATHEMATICS !!    IS IT THAT HARD?

When you go through the contents, you will come to know what this site is for.   I have nothing much to say about myself.   I am a retired Accounts Officer.  I am very fond of reading books on all the subjects.   I am more interested in Mathematics.  I also coach the children who are weak in the subject. It gives me a pleasure when I see the happiness in their faces after they have solved the mathematical problems with/without my help. So all the children who are weak in Mathematics may feel free to contact me anytime online/offline.

I also know that the children hate Mathematics for the simple reason that they are not able to solve the problems. Why?  They should be taught the logic of why a mathematical operation is performed.

As I am from Mumbai, India, children from throughout India who are especially in 9th and 10th standard may contact me if they have any problem in Maths whether it is 'Arithmatic' or 'Algebra' or 'Geometry'.   I don't mean that children from other countries shall not contact me at all.  They are also welcome.

Do you want to go to the college with good scoring in Mathematics esp. algebra?  Then you have come to the correct place to get good scoring in algebra and enter the best college in your town. I am also available for personal online tuition thru Yahoo! Messenger to the students residing outside India. My fees are also as low as $15 per hour.  I am always available at Home as I earlier said that I am a retired man.  But this site is for the children of all the classes. To start with, you will find a small lesson on 'Divisibility'.

As I was an accounts man, I also take the jobs of writing "books of accounts" of partnership firms, co-op credit/housing societies on contract basis. I am also available for 'data entry jobs' i.e. typing job at home online, only if I don't need to pay any fees/deposits. Before we leave this page, take the following tip(if you don't know) for multiplying any big number by '25' to write the answer from left to right.

MULTIPLICATION  BY  "25"

Normally when we multiply any big number by 25,  first we multiply the number by 5 and put the answer down.   Then we multiply the same number by 2 and write the answer down from tens' place.   In the last we add the both to get the product. Instead of doing it so tedius,  we will simply divide the number by '4' straight and write the down the answer by suffixing '00' to the quotient we got if there is no reminder at all. If the reminder is equal to 1, then suffix '25'; if the reminder is equal to 2, then suffix '50';  and if the reminder is equal to 3, then suffix 75 to the quotient we got by dividing the number by '4'.  But this is applicable only when we multiply any number by '25'.  Try some examples of numbers of more than 4 digits.  You will see for yourself how easy it is than the current system.
