Lake Owen
Lake Owen is a dandy camp. I went last year and thought the          experience was okay, but it just didn't fit the price tag. If you are       thinking about going to Lake Owen your going to want to register        so you can get in. Last year my buddy just barely got in the session     because it was full. Most of the instructors there are pretty cool and    try to teach you some tricks if you need and help. They have two        indoor parks (including a bowl) and an outdoor street course and vert. You will have a fun time if you remember the following five thing......
1.
Make sure that you don't get "The Loon" as your cabin. It is a huge building with tons of beds crammed this way and that.
2.
Bring tons of candy. Even if you don't it all, you can still sell it to other camper for prices that satisfy you. You won't even believe how much this one instructor made off of selling twelve packs of pop.
3.
Make sure you bring some extra dough. When your up there you might want to buy a deck or something extra in case your set-up breaks. You also need the money for buying cany or pop at the canteen. The canteen is basically a place where you food and stuff.
4.
Bring a bathing suit. Lake Owen is obviously based on Lake Owen. They have wakeboarding, tubing, and "The Blob" I didn't do any of these things, but I heard "The Blob" is awsome. They have this guy called "The Fajita King" and he weights around 3 or 400 pounds. He jumps off this six foot deck onto the other end of "The Blob" and then you fly.
5.
Bring some pads. Lake Owen requires that all of the campers wear knee pads, elbow pads, and a helmet. They instructors won't even let you skate on flat ground with out all you pads on. Hint: Find some super thin pads if you don't like them. As long as they say protective gear the instructors don't care.
