Item Notes: -The cherry wood scabbard was the first item I ever found in the game. It has the most sentimental value of anything I own. I am currently using it again, now that item loss is a thing of the past. When item loss was in, I kept it in my locker and would go look at it every now and then, thinking of old freinds now gone and good times once had. - I really miss my warm brown torkaan wool sweater. Was a fluff item, but I loved it. No idea what happened to it. If I ever make an alterer's list again this is the one piece of fluff clothing I'd like to recreate. - The boots protect as leg greaves --- Manny Revilla the Cleric --- You are holding a dark Haidic battle sword in your right hand. You are wearing a blue plumed Haidic warhelm, a weather streaked haversack, a silvery blue lunarni bark weapon holster, some battleworn bracers, a translucent ring, a faded blue wool sash, some rugged Haidic campaign armor and some travel-stained boots. >l in hol In the weapon holster you see a white eog blade, and a drake bastard sword. >l in haver In the streaked haversack you see an ithloss shield, a twohanded sword, a silver tipped wooden spear, a bleached white windak staff, a slender alloy stiletto, a small statue, a crystal amulet, some dwarven ale and some Akbutege leaf. > Item Notes: - The dark Haidic battle sword was a Quest item. It is a +2 two handed sword of normal weight that is strong and flexible (i.e. difficult to break) with two special properties. First it would fit into a normal sheath. Second it does +20% damage. Thats not a typo folks! The newer damage weighted weapons do a set amount (like +4 or so) but this one does +20 _percent_ more. I built the charachter around the Haidic sword. - The Warhelm originally was one of the merchant Tamerrin's light weight leather hoods and protects the head and neck. - The weapon holster was from a merchant that only made custom holsters and only showed twice that I know of. Holds 3 weapons including one two hander. - The sash is pocketed. - The armor was heavy hide (AT4). Ehchanted to +20 by either Whilder or Odds. Then it was lightened by Tamerrin, heavily crit padded (crit reducing), and as a final touch was tempored to have a strength/Breakage factor 25%? above normal. We had weapon and shield breakage in the game then and armor breakage was going in soon (along with a repair system for armor only) we were told. So the temporing merchant, on his last 2 visits to the lands, allowed folks to tempor not just weapons and shields, but armor as well in anticipation. I was there for both visits, about 6 pieces of armor were tempored in all by the players. This may be the only piece of tempored armor left in the game! Also, when Heavy hide was removed from the game as an armor class, the armor was converted to ASG5. In hindsight, I should have made it ASG6, but I didn't realize it at the time. (Since statiscally the protection afforded by ASG6 over ASG5 is only 2-3% better on average, it is a minor point.) - The boots protect as leg greaves - The drake bastard sword does lightning flares, can be used one or two handed. - The staff is a +10/+10 defender weapon. Uses two handed skill. The rest of the stuff isn't all that impressive other than it is old and probably unique. Since the game is no longer based on the RoleMaster Shadow World, I expected to have been told I had to change alot of my items, since things like Haidic and Lunarni Bark are copyrighted by ICE. Fortunately, it seems like the legal settlement allowed some things to remain. If I'm wrong, I'm sure some GM will get around to paying me a visit some year. I'm also waiting to see what happens to the armor when the new breakage system goes in. The GM's might have to have a chat with me there too. --- Manny Revilla the Sorcerer [Current] --- You see Lord Manny Revilla the Human Sorcerer. He appears to be in his 60's, has short, wavy light brown hair, brown eyes, and fair skin. He is in good shape. He is holding a sharp chip of stone from a tombstone in his right hand. He is wearing a gold ring,some soft rabbit fur boots, some grey wolfskin trousers, a cherry wood scabbard, a merchant's moneybag, a bloody rolton hide tunic, a storm grey glaes spider charm, and an old weathered gray cloak lined with an odd cloth so dark it appears to be woven of shadow or cut from the fabric of Fear itself. Item Notes: - Cherry wood scabbard: see thief [above] - Soft rabbit fur boots are altered, pocketed, and enlarged by the pocket merchant to hold 3 items instaed of 1. - "Old weathered gray cloak lined with an odd cloth so dark it appears to be woven of shadow or cut from the fabric of Fear itself" is an old item that appears above in different stages of alteration. It's been altered and been through two different pockets merchants. One increased the capacity and the other the volume it can carry. Elke Waterpath gave me this cloak in 1992 as a "frayed old cloak". - The "sharp piece of stone from a tombstone" is actually just a normal dagger that skeletons carried when they invaded town once in 1993. I think this is the same invasion were I obtained a "witches broom" (staff) for Warble. Once, when creatures invaded town, they carried altered but otherwise normal items. Over the span of a few years, these items have now become unique, even tho they are normal. I might still have a "massive oak tree branch" (claidmore) in my locker from a troll king invasion. Miscellaneous Items: - "an extremely oversized obscenely fluffy but otherwise perfect tickling feather" is just a fluff item that I had an alterer make for me that get alot of mileage out of. - "an old ceramic jug with "DANGER!" spelled out in big red letters on the side" is a refillable drinking vessel that holds 7 sips when filled. It was made by a merchant that custom made drinking items. I have a couple of hundred items, none of wich I really consider all that important, but in todays Elanthia thier age and uniqueness probably make them priceless.
