Basically we found out that we need to make another "key" to reach the plane that Vellinos is on. Unfortunately, no other keys exist in this world. We were sent somewhat far corners to find rip in reality. He spoke of one in a crypt on the cliffs in WL, past a gate in Icemule, one in Wraithenmist, and one south of the guild that his people will search out. Inside the rips were obelisks with eyes and sigals that casted what seemed to be MD at us. After many casts of 705 and 720, the obelisks shattered into sigils and shards. We're supposed to bring back the pieces to him. I think he only needs one from each place.

Here's the log with relevant info...

[Sorcerer Guild, Laboratory]
A large ebon coffin sits atop an altar of yellowed bone, its slick surface awash in the light of hundreds and hundreds of thin pillar candles that surround it on every side. Lustrous steel tables are placed throughout the room, a variety of potions, chalks, powders, and various empty bits of glassware set atop them. Dark stains ring the floor, mingling with the charred rings that also vie for space in the small chamber. You also see a fanged midnight black aishan, A COWLED DARK-ROBED MAN, the Rheisia disk, a dull-beaked iron verlok'asha that is flying around, a brightly plumed toucan that is flying around, the Eoghain disk, an aggressive midnight black aishan, a robed figure, a dark grey flame-eyed grantris, a serpentine dull maroon abyran'sa, the Moredin disk, an enruned brass coffer and a circle of dark sigils.
Also here: Rheisia, Mekthros, Parrasite, Ulthripe, Rontuu who is sitting, Massa Eoghain, Senja who is sitting, Lady Shalla, Querthose, Garvane who is sitting, Lord Vulterith, Venrath, Lord Kastrel, Great Lady Starshadow, Hakwea, Lord Krolnivar, Lady Agenais, Drigore, Evarin, Moredin, Jenovadeath, Great Lady Jteim who is sitting, Great Lord Elsun who is sitting, Auriia who is sitting, Nehari, Elronae who is sitting
Obvious exits: out

>A COWLED DARK-ROBED MAN says, "Regardless. I only need a few moments to draw out the pattern."

>A COWLED DARK-ROBED MAN begins to trace the lines of the crimson pattern.

>A COWLED DARK-ROBED MAN says, "Now. I see some of you I vaguely recall being here last time. This is unfortunate, as I'd hope some of you had met an unfortunate end by falling off a cliff somewhere, however."

>A COWLED DARK-ROBED MAN says, "You should be familiar with how I operate. I expect a modicum of respect."

>A COWLED DARK-ROBED MAN says, "Especially when I am going to be dealing with a possibly very angry, very powerful dead man."

>A COWLED DARK-ROBED MAN says, "Whom could, possibly, do something rather terrible to those gathered. So. You need not kneel and grovel, I certainly am not, but do not test the protection which I am now constructing."

>A COWLED DARK-ROBED MAN says, "I am simply going to ask him what Vellinos asked him."

>A COWLED DARK-ROBED MAN finishes tracing out the pattern and stands up.

>A COWLED DARK-ROBED MAN says, "That's why we're summoning him, to ask him what the Triad asked of him."

>A COWLED DARK-ROBED MAN says, "Alright."

>A COWLED DARK-ROBED MAN stands in the center of the circle, and nods his head. Instantly, faint patterns resembling the circle superimpose themselves underneath of everyone in the room, their borders glowing palely.

>A COWLED DARK-ROBED MAN says, "I would suggest not moving from where you now stand."

>A COWLED DARK-ROBED MAN nods slightly, and begins to mutter something low under his breath.

>The man's murmurs echo through the room, and soon, they begin to echo and fracture, splitting off into different voices -- screams begin to rise in the chamber, screams and wails and moans crying in pain.

>A COWLED DARK-ROBED MAN says, "Enough. I do not seek all of you. I seek one of you. Your pain is gone. Your torment is past. I seek the one who caused your pain. I seek the one called Nameless."

>Immediately, the screams cut off.

>The chamber suddenly becomes very cold, a chill breeze wafting in from an unseen source -- frost begins to form on metal surfaces as strange swirls play out in the air.

>A cold, disembodied voice murmurs, "What do you want?"

>A COWLED DARK-ROBED MAN asks, "This is not the first time you have been called, Nameless. Another called you, did they not?"

>A cold, disembodied voice murmurs, "They did. They were... disrespectful and of foul temper."

>A COWLED DARK-ROBED MAN asks, "We are markedly different, I assure you. What did he ask?"

>A cold, disembodied voice murmurs, "He asked where the gate to one of my sanctums was. He had formed a key from things I had... placed elsewhere..."

>A cold, disembodied voice murmurs, "His... dagger, yes."

>A COWLED DARK-ROBED MAN asks, "His dagger was a key? And he used it to open a gateway to your sanctum here?"

>A cold, disembodied voice murmurs, "...yes. You may not pass without the key."

>A COWLED DARK-ROBED MAN murmurs to himself, "Then that would explain why we couldn't find it..."

>A COWLED DARK-ROBED MAN says, "Then tell me, Nameless. Tell me where I might find another key."

>A cold, disembodied voice murmurs, "I have already been forced to comply with the wishes of one of the living. Why should I now do so again?"

>A COWLED DARK-ROBED MAN says, "This man will take your legacy, Nameless. We realize the value in your centuries of research that we are only now finding. We recognize your dedication to the Art. He will only proclaim it as his own, and it will truly be lost forever."

>A cold, disembodied voice murmurs, "Very well. I will answer your question. There is... no key in this world."

>A cold, disembodied voice murmurs, "There may be that which you can use to construct one... in caches I have left behind. They are... easier to open."

>A COWLED DARK-ROBED MAN raises an eyebrow.

>A COWLED DARK-ROBED MAN says, "Tell me."

>Faint whispers echo around the man, and a vague, lithe silhouette briefly hovers in the air before him.

>A COWLED DARK-ROBED MAN asks, "...yes, yes, right. Now, how to construct the key?"

>The whispers intensify around the man.

>A COWLED DARK-ROBED MAN says, "I see."

>A COWLED DARK-ROBED MAN says, "I thank you for this, Nameless."

>A COWLED DARK-ROBED MAN says, "I bid you go now, we shall disturb you no longer."

>The chill feeling in the room dissipates.

>A COWLED DARK-ROBED MAN lowers his head, and the sigils disappear from beneath everyone.

>A COWLED DARK-ROBED MAN says, "That was fruitful."

>A COWLED DARK-ROBED MAN stands up.

>A COWLED DARK-ROBED MAN says, "Regardless."

>A COWLED DARK-ROBED MAN says, "Now... as I mentioned, my conversation was fruitful, apparently, the necromancer left caches of ah... important things scattered between the planes."

>A COWLED DARK-ROBED MAN says, "Pockets of irreality, if you will."

>A COWLED DARK-ROBED MAN gestures vaguely.

>A COWLED DARK-ROBED MAN says, "He was kind enough to give them a little push in our direction."

>A COWLED DARK-ROBED MAN says, "I will have my operatives look for those in the south, but he made mention of one here, and two over the 'Spine."

>A COWLED DARK-ROBED MAN says, "Since the Council of Magic's resources are pooled elsewhere than these three locales at the moment, I will have to entrust the task of finding it to you."

>A COWLED DARK-ROBED MAN says, "We will also be doing our own searches, in the... other locations mentioned."

>A COWLED DARK-ROBED MAN says, "I am getting to that."

>A COWLED DARK-ROBED MAN says, "There is one in Ta'Illistim, he made mention of the place now called Wraithenmist."

>A COWLED DARK-ROBED MAN says, "And another in, ah... what is it? Icemull. Icemeck..."

>A COWLED DARK-ROBED MAN says, "Icemule, yes. Past a gate, somewhere."

>A COWLED DARK-ROBED MAN says, "And one in the port town, Wenn-immers, some damned wilderness outpost no one knows about..."

>A COWLED DARK-ROBED MAN says, "It is in a... crypt, somewhere along cliffs."

>A COWLED DARK-ROBED MAN says, "If you find anything of use, do feel free to bring it back. I only need but a few components he mentioned in order to craft a key, or so he says."

>A COWLED DARK-ROBED MAN says, "Fairly soon. I also have some reading to do, as well."

>A COWLED DARK-ROBED MAN says, "It may take several days to fully form such a key."

>A COWLED DARK-ROBED MAN says, "He was not to keen on the details."

>A COWLED DARK-ROBED MAN says, "He did mention a possibility of danger."

>A COWLED DARK-ROBED MAN says, "If you find them, bring them. I've no guarantee I shall be here, as what I must study must be studied fairly intensely in order to form what we require."

>A COWLED DARK-ROBED MAN says, "And I do not know when my own agents shall return."

>A COWLED DARK-ROBED MAN says, "Correct. Blame the dead for ambiguity."
