Sometimes people come into your life and you know right away that they were meant to be there to serve some sort of purpose, teach you a lesson, or to help you figure out who you are or who you want to become.
You never know who these people may be. A roomate, a neighbor, a friend, a lover, or even a complete stranger. It is only when you lock eyes with them, you know at that very moment, they will affect your life in some profound way.
And sometimes you will have those days where everything that could go wrong, did go wrong. You will hits walls, get in arguments, and make mistakes. Things will happen to you that may seem horrible, painful, and unfair at first. However, in reflection you will find that without overcoming these obstacles, you would have never realized your strength, willpower, or heart.
Everything happens for a reason. Nothing happens by chance or by means of good luck.
Illness, injury, love, lost moments of true greatness, and sheer stupidity all occur to test the limits of your soul. Without these small tests, whatever they may be, life would be like a smoothly paved, straight, flat road to nowhere. It would be safe and comfortable, but dull and utterly pointless.
The people who affect your life, and the successes and downfalls you expercience, help create who you are and who you become. Even the lessons you wish you didn't have to learn the hard way, are the ones you are most grateful for. Those who break your heart and your trust are the ones we are appreciative of. For without those events, we could not learn to open our eyes, hearts, and minds to friendship, love, and life. It is the good and the bad circumstances that help us learn about trust, forgiveness, and respect.
And on the days that are good, share what you know with others so that they can know the joys that you know. If someone loves you, love them back unconditionally. The feeling of love is far to great to let it pass by.
