Megg Del Giacco our Teen Program Specialist has asked our opinion on GSUSA programs at the national level

Here are some of your ideas so far: I like the new designation of Ambassador for the 11th and 12th graders. I feel like at this level it's not about earning badges, because we know what we want to do in the future. It is trying to recruit younger girls and set an example for them to want to stay in Girl Scouts by showing them how fun it can be.

2. Flexibility in schedules is paramount and online blogging and email helps. High school is stressful and sometime you are over-extended with clubs and activities

3. Have a program where older (veteran) girls scouts can become co-leaders with new leaders without experience.

4. More information on Campus Girls Scouts, where they are located (maybe a database) and College related topics.

About the Brownie Fun Day. The Service Unit does it each year for "FUN." They want to rent an outdoor company carnival to come out and expose the little girls ie "Brownies" to outdoor activities. We just plan it. They send the people to man the booths. Cindy said it would cost about $5 per girl to do it. Are we interested??? It would include a rock climbing wall, canoes, and others outdoor activities. I'll try and find their web site, K?
