"LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, THESE FOUR PLAYERS ARE ABOUT TO MAKE INSTANT DECISIONS UNDER PRESSURE. ONLY THE LAST SURVIVOR WILL WIN THE GAME AND ALL THE MONEY ON..."
PASS THE BUCK
A Bob Stewart Production
air dates: 4/3-6/30/78 on CBS daytime
host: Bill Cullen
announcer: Bob Clayton

HOW TO PLAY:
Four contestants would be read a particular category and were required to come up with an answer which fit that category. An acceptable answer added $25 to the pot, which started at $100, and passed control to the next player. An unacceptable answer placed that player in the danger zone. Any correct answer knocked out all players in the danger zone. If all remaining players consecutively gave wrong answers, another question was played with the pot continuing to build. If one player remained, that player won the prize money and played Fast Bucks.
In Fast Bucks, the player was shown one row of four hidden answers which related to a particular subject. The second level featured a row of three hidden answers related to another subject, while the third level hid two answers from yet another subject and the top level hid one answer from still another subject. Starting with the first level, the player was given 15 seconds on each level to name as many answers as possible from the given subject. If at least one answer but not all answers were revealed on a particular level, the player may advance to the next level. If at any time the player failed to reveal an answer on any level, the game ended, the player earned $100 for each answer revealed throughout the game, and the three losers from the previous main game took on the champ in another game. However, if the champ revealed one answer on each level or all answers on any one level, (s)he won $5,000 and the losers from the front game went bye-bye for good.
