Ah, robots. We all want one. We all want to see one. And who doesn't want to fight in one? For the lucky
few that dream is a reality. Pilots like Shinji Ikari, though typically more than a little whiny, are probably some of the luckiest guys in anime. They
get to pilot massive robots that carry big guns and fight of alien attacks for fun. They usually do it beside girls and, more often than not, they get to
be a little closer to those girls than we do. I just don't get it.
