The head tough guy raised his gun and Krya just leapt and kicked it right out of his grubby hand.  He cursed and his buddies rushed into the fray.  By the time the shock wore off enough for me to think about helping Krya with the fight all the thieves were unconscious.  She taught me, right after that, some simple defense, so, as she said, I would know what to do besides wetting myself.  I had never seen a human move with such speed or confidence. 

    There is no doubt in my mind that this girl is out of this world, not that she�s an alien or anything, but simply amazing.  She does calculus in her head for fun, can balance on one hand for ten minutes running on the railing of the fire escape and never even wiggle, can charm the pants off any one she wants, literally and figuratively, and never ages.  I always joke about her being a super hero in her spare time and she always laughs and tells me I�m a geek.
Krya�my best friend...what a girl.
