Cohesin belongs to the European Homosexual Christian Groups Forum, which gathers groups from Europe fighting together against discrimination in Christian Churches throughout the continent.
Cohesin also takes part in the movement Somos Iglesia (We are the Church), made up of worldwide institutions and Catholic groups working for a more human and democratic Church. We have been in touch with Church organisations, such as the Justicia y Paz (Justice and Peace) commission and have been supported by many priests and blessed by a few bishops.
We belong to the Spanish Network of Homosexual Christian Groups, which was established by Cohesin in 1996, when the first National Meeting was held where all local Spanish groups were invited. Ever since, the meetings have been held every two years in different locations.
Cohesin is always readily available to assist with initiatives that contribute to dignify the homosexual orientation within society and the Christian Churches.
We endeavour to maintain good relations with all Christian and non-Christian groups, within a context of mutual respect and freedom of action and thought.
