Since most states require a minimum amount (sq. inches) of orange for safety during hunting, orange burlap or material can be added into the suit. This will not alter the effectivness of the suit if it is being used for hunting, due to the fact that animals do not see color, just shades of black and white. There is an exception to this, however, and that is turkeys do see color. No state requires orange to be worn by the hunter for safety during a turkey season, but it is highly recommended to wear some while moving to and from your set-up. Game animals should also be wrapped or carried in orange material so there is no possibility of being mistaken alive and shot at while being moved out of the area. |
