| The Streets Of Paris Tower Visit the world, torn and tarnished Pull the thread of whats known, in hopes it be harnessed Youve dragged me around, tugged ever so slightly Blew kisses from your gown, so Id come along nicely Enough wind through the streets of Paris tower To sooth the suns sleepless power And no their not dolls, just caught in a mask So hush in public brawls, and they wont ask Of how we lost ourselves, to stumble into found To remind our forgotten hells, Heaven is grasped on the ground Enough faith in the streets of Paris Tower To praise the waist of a faceless hour Flickering mischief, dances to a flame Watch candlelit moments make love to the rain But times gentle sweep into the morning air Makes me weep to caress dreams out of your hair Enough love in the streets of Paris tower As a dream from above in a seamless shower Enough dreams for the streets of Paris Tower As a dream from above in a seamless shower |
| Song Background The process was Mario wrote poetry and I liked it. I always wanted a spoken word on a CD and I decided to throw it on a Starveya recording but Starveya couldn't pick up quick enough and Aaron wanted a lot of elaborate changes in regular tuning which is near impossible due to the strange tunings involved in the song. So I moved it to Moonlight Junkies. It's in the same vein as Things we dreamt we died for... in the sense that it is just an acoustic and keyboards. -Brian- |
