COMPUTERS!

When I say computers it is really more about people with Ron because even though he loved the hardware and software aspects it was really always about a way to connect with People.

Ron was a big kid himself. He loved and related well to children so as a result of that and his love and knowledge of computers he began combining the two by developing a safe adult supervised environment for kids to meet and chat and play games and surf the web.  He built and maintained a BBS in Montreal known to many there as CyberKids. 

Ron cared so much that I frequently heard him refer to them protectively as 'my kids' and he was always worrying about them.  He often counciled troubled youths with his uniquely sharp and humor filled perspective with  which he taught with reflection so much to everyone he connected with...myself included most definitely.  For this reason alone I would not have traded meeting and knowing Ron for anything in the world.

Our future plans had included building and establishing a similar BBS together in FLorida and then making it a safe supervised web-based community gone International supported by membership and advertising.

Because of Ron's loves it is my desire to establish a memorial fund in Ron's name that will benefit children and their aquisition of computer equipment and training.  More on this as it develops.
