Ron's death at only 47 years old was a direct result of his having smoked cigarettes non-stop since he was just a tender teenager. He died of Lung Cancer.
He was so proud...counting the days since he had finally quit smoking... just 44 days before his death, beginning with day he went in to the hospital for surgery to remove the cancerous tumor in his lung. None of us knew even at that point that it was already too late....
If you smoke...please...stop now.
Don't wait till it's too late. Don't deprive the people who love you of having you around to love. Ron was amazed at how 'easy' it was to have finally quit for good once he did it...but it took something as dramatic as surgery to get him there.
