Recall WWI and the conditions in Russia in the early 1900s. List possible causes for the Russian Revolution of 1917.

The possible causes fore the Russian Revolution are:
The conditions in Russia were very poor. There was little food and little drinking water. The living condition was very poor and there were an extreme number of peasants that were living in disease and famine.
There had been very little happiness with the current government. Then when the Czar left to fight in the revolution, he left the czarina in charge. The people already didnt like the czarina because she was not Russian born.
With the fall of the Czar, there was a power struggle and Lenin came into power. He wanted to make a classless society as opposed to the classful society already existing. This was a difficult time for the people and was a state of confusion. This was the perfect time to revolt.
