There is power within and all around us. This world is not predestined and it is not possible to plan a life out. The more one tries to control or shape their environment the more out of wack it becomes. It is a strange balance of letting go, riding waves, finding the flow, and enjoying the show. Magic is alive and well in this world. Energy flows from me to you through this video screen, through the air, through music, song, dance, and microwave popcorn. Anything is possible.
As an individual, you have power in this society. You can create change, actually watch it happen before your eyes. You can change the way items are bought and sold in your community, the ways and types of services available to you within your community. You help to control the peace and energy of your own streets. You decide which stores stay open and which stores fizzle out of business. You decide who remains in power or in positions of authority. You control these things through certain activities, like: where you shop for food, where you buy your clothes, which garmets and materials you wear/use, to whom you give your money is to whom you give your voice. Realise that connection.
If in this society your money is your voice, then your age does not matter. You do not lose power or your voice by not being able to vote. Our youth need to be aware of the choices they are making by supporting certain markets. They must realise what they are perpetuating, and what they have the potential to do. Our youth aren't just our future, they are our present. Let's take up arms with our youth and realise the absolute power we have over the corporate world.
Corporations are not living creatures although they have similar rights. The sole purpose of a corporation is to continue to exist. All decisions are made to follow this goal because without a corporation to hide behind an individual takes on enormous personal risk. That is the last thing a corporate-type person would want: Personal Risk/Accountablilty for their actions/decisions within a corporation. It's a bit like a soldier being forced to face the violence inflicted after a battle. We've been working hard to fight from a distance for a long time, we're doing well because a lot of us are soldiers and don't even realise it.
Perhaps it is time to wake up and reclaim the flame within. Tear your eyes away from the televisions, get off your chair and stop the endless internet search. Our world is changing at a rapid pace. We can create a world in which we are happy, in which our choices and preferences are represented. I'm not just talking about social institutions like government, police, church, state, etc. I am talking about our social frameworks, our media, our lives. We do not have to work long grueling hours for pay that barely covers expenses. We probably don't need half of those expenses. We are simple creatures, really. We need to be happy. Are you happy? Are you content? Does it please you to see what is happening to people all around you?
So, we cannot attempt to control life/our nature. Is it possible to have limited control? Perhaps not rock the boat, persee -- what about sway with the waves? This is where the magic comes into play. Can magic be considered controling? Does this make any sense? What is the limit here?
