Bill Walth

Bill Walth is from Sioux Falls, SD. He ran a single electric race in 1998, but began running 1/10 2WD gas in a big way in 1999, finishing 2nd in the 1999 season points! He is the current points leader in this very competitive class and 1 of 5 winners in 5 races (told you it was competitive!) The rest is Bill's story in his words....

Well here goes.... I've been racing for about 6 years......I got started when I went to some races with my son chad, after that I was hooked..... I started oval racing with a buggy... quickly switching to nascar stock and 1/12 scale..... Now I just run 1/12 in the winter and gas in the summer......As far as accomplishments... I have no big accomplishments..... a couple of wins and tq's in gas and trying to be there at the end of 30 minutes..... Favorite racing moments.... anytime I can beat my son chad.... which doesn't happen very often..... have to savor those moments..... and I want to thank OV Opheim for talking me into getting into gas racing, ...... It is truly EXCITEMENT IN THE FAST LANE.
