JOANNA & RYAN GREER | KINETIC DANCE THEATER

Joanna and Ryan Greer founded a moving arts collective in 1999. Kinetic Dance Theater was immediately praised for �accessible, joyous, jazz-inflected dancing both crisp and sensual� (Chicago Reader). As self-producers they have co-conceived, written, directed and choreographed a number of original Off Broadway dance, musical theater and cabaret works known for �expert razzmatazz� and �Broadway sass� (The New Yorker). Kinetic has premiered in a variety of spaces including The Performance Loft, Links Hall, New Dance Group Arts Center, Dance Forum, Kraine Theater, TADA! Theater, Upstairs at Rose's Turn and Don�t Tell Mama, and was featured in Around the Coyote, the prestigious Dance Chicago, The World Music Festival, Bridge for Dance and Group Theatre Too�s Choreographer�s Canvas. The Greer�s were thrilled to participate in Pulitzer Prize winner Suzan-Lori Park�s 365 Days / 365 Plays, their direction and choreography for the national festival seen at The Public Theater.
