BRIAN DURYEA
Brian Duryea has had the great opportunity to learn from such talented people as Michael Blevins, Lane Napper, Bettye Morrow, Frank Hatchett and Charles Goddertz. His recent NY credits include 'David' in The Group Theatre Too revival of SEESAW (Connelly Theater) and 'George Fielding' in A PAIR OF LUNATICS (78th Street Theatre Lab). Other credits include 'Nougat' in THE ULTIMATE MAN (Stowe Theater Guild), 'Junior' in CRAZY FOR YOU (Allegro), 'Oscar' in SWEET CHARITY and 'Amos' in CHICAGO. Regionally he portrayed 'Mutel' in FIDDLER ON THE ROOF, 'Marcellus' in THE MUSIC MAN, and was also featured in LADY BE GOOD (with Jimmy Tate of Bring in Da Noise, Bring in Da Funk.) Favorite film and television roles include playing an Assassin in UPN9's "U.S. Customs Classified" and a student in "The Mirror Has Two Faces." Brian will also be seen in Social Insecurities, a new independent film to be released in 2009. Brian is a member of The Group Theatre Too, LLC. and Generation Tap. He has taught at Public School 75 and The Centenary Young Performers Workshop in New Jersey. He is also on the faculty at Groove With Me and recently choreographed for their performance at the Apollo Theatre in NYC.
