 Beko Elektronik A.S.. was first established as "Bekoteknik Sanayi A. S." in 1966. One of the
largest electronic manufacturers in Turkey, Beko Elektronik produces
various types and models of televisions and electronic cash registers for domestic and foreign
markets in its 131,000 square-meter facility in Istanbul. Its other activities
are the marketing of audio equipment, fax machines, VCR’s, and other consumer products.

Beko Elektronik has one of the most modern and advanced television factories in Europe as a
result of its continuous modernisation programs. Today, different television
models can be produced simultaneously which has enabled Beko Elektronik to meet the
requirements of its international customers, and to achieve annual export sales
of over US$ 50 million.
 

Beko Elektronik continues to develop its technology and add new dimensions to its
technological strength by employing CAD-CAD-CIM-CE methods in product design and
manufacturing, and by automating 95 % of its production processes.

In 1996, Beko Elektronik added computerised testing and grading capabilities to its
computerised production and warehousing systems.The company, with its superior technologies,
has reached world standards in manufacturing, deploying 20 robots for critical operations, four
SMD lines, and computerised testing and grading systems.Total and unconditional customer
satisfaction within the framework of TQM applications is Beko Elektronik’s unwavering goal.
 

In its pursuit of technological leadership, Beko Elektronik took an important step in Research
and Development. Its R&D departments employ highly trained,experienced staff, modern tools,
and sophisticated and well-equipped testing laboratories.
