Lynsey Bartilson

Lynsey Bartilson

Lynsey Bartilson discovered the joy of performing through dance, an interest that quickly became a passion for her, and one which continues to this day. By the time she turned six, she could be found at a local dance studio every day after school studying all styles of dance with students two and three times her age. She soon began choreographing her own routines.

Bartilson won her first talent competition at the age of seven in dance and began acting professionally at the age of nine. Her first television appearance came a year later on the season finale of "Married... With Children." At the same time she began singing and performing in professional musical theater productions across Los Angeles. She played the title role in three different productions of "Annie" and starred as "Ramona Quimby" and Effie Lou in the world premiere of "Amelia Bedelia." She also continued dancing professionally, appearing twice in the Joffrey Ballets annual "Nutcracker." Bartilsons television credits include the Hallmark Christmas music special "Mrs. Santa Claus" opposite Angela Lansbury, FOXs "That 70s Show," "Philly," "Suddenly Susan," "Zoe, Duncan, Jack Jane," "Early Edition," "7th Heaven," "Any Day Now," "Judging Amy" and the recurring role of Parker Brookes on the FOX series "Party of Five."

Additional theater credits include the Los Angeles productions of "Paper Moon," "West Side Story" and "Tight Quarters." She won a Dramalogue Award for her acting, singing and dancing performance in "Situation Tragedy." In addition, she spent a season dancing for the Los Angeles Sparks professional womens basketball team as one of the "Sparkids."

A founding member of the Church of Scientology Celebrity Centres Kids on Stage for a Better World, Bartilson also has served as the creative director and lead choreographer and is the international spokesperson for Youth for Human Rights.
