OUTDOOR RIFLE RANGES (100 YARD AND 300 YARD)

 

1. Shooting Hours; Open to members daily, 9AM to Sunset.

2. Paper or cardboard Bullseye, Spot, Blank or Game Profile, wooden or clay bird targets only.

3. Authorized firearms and ammunition are; All .22 cal. rimfire handguns and rifles, all centerfire handguns, any legal barrel length centerfire rifle, shotguns and Blackpowder handguns and rifles and associated ammunition.

4. All persons using the range shall clean up spent brass and used targets upon completion of range activity. NO live or misfire ammunition of any kind shall be put in any trashcans. The shooter is responsible for defective ammunition and shall remove it from the range or place in red container at clubhouse.

5. Firearms shall be racked or placed on the shooting table, with actions open, pointing directly down range, except when the shooter is holding the firearm for the immediate purpose of shooting it. Loaded firearms shall never be pointed in any direction other than DOWN RANGE and shall NEVER be raised above a horizontal line of site.

6. The following are PROHIBITED on the outdoor rifle ranges;

    Use of bottles, cans or rocks as targets.

    Combat style handgun shooting or quick draws.

    Shooting at targets or objects outside the normal confines of the backstop area.

    Shooting from beyond 10 feet in front of the enclosed shooting stations.

            Shooting at any range other than those permanently established at 100, 200 and 300 yards.
