Do not bring me paper versions. I will Google at least seventy per cent of work submitted and will fail all plagiarists with no chance of re-submission.

I have uploaded an excellent essay by Marie Pecarova as an illustration of academic writing by a Czech student for which I gave a maximum of 20. She also formatted the essay correctly but as a web page this is not visible.

You will need to refer to the Academic Writing website throughout the course for support materials and a course outline www.geocities.com/grostock

The focus this semester will be on literary critique using the academic writing course as your skills base. My lectures will go over sections of the Academic Writing outline and we will also discuss elements of literary criticism.

What does the Joker mean when he says to Batman "I don't want to kill you, you complete me." And when he says "I choose chaos,"  do you believe him?

Essay 2, Deadline: Friday 22nd May

write a film review of a film of your choosing, the title will be:
´Your choice of film: a review´

Think about the main characters, the plot, conflict within the film, hidden meanings, is it a metaphor? Style of shooting, character depth, use of music, what do you admire or dislike in this film?
