After a short while, Kat still dragging Kyra by the hair, they emerge into the clearing.
"Ow...ow...ow...ow...that hurts!"
Kat lets go of Kyra's hair and looks around at all the hundreds of springs. "Where are we?
"How should I know...ohh, my head!" Kyra grumbled, rubbing her temples. "All I see is birds and stars and coments and flashes of light...no thanks to you!"
"You're no help..."
"I know."
"Look, there's Quatre!"
"Uhn...who?"
"Are you deaf?!" Kat screams.
Kyra puts her hands behind her ears. "I think when you were pulling my hair, it affected my hearing a little."
"LOOK...OVER THERE...BY THE WATER!" Kat yelled.
"Hey, dumbo," Kyra snaps. "THERE ARE LOTS OF POOLS...OF WATER! And you don't have to scream so loud, either."
"You're the dumbo, dumbo. Look in front of you."
Kyra looks, and-- lo-and-behold --she sees Quatre, sitting on a pole, with a pink blob hovering next to it. "Hey, Kat...there's Quatre!"
Kat shoots Kyra a confused glance. "Du'uh, that's what I've been telling you."
Kyra stands up, and attempts to dust off her mud-covered clothes. "All-righty...LET'S GO SAVE QUATRE!"
Kat smiles. "Exactly what I was thinking."
"Oh...yeah, and, by the way, Kat...?"
"Yes?"
"I still think you're a dumbo."
"WHAT?!"
Kusanagi appears right in the middle of the...ah...'Kat fight.' "All right...what are you two doing?!"
"SHE CALLED ME A DUMBO!" Kat hisses her fangs exposed, ready to pounce on Kyra and strangle her.
"WELL, SHE PULLED MY HAIR TOO HARD, SAID I WAS NO HELP, CALLED ME DEAF, AND THEN CALLED ME A DUMBO!" Kyra yells, ready to pounce on Kat and strangle her.
"Tch...women..." Kusanagi mutters, rolling his eyes.
"Ohh...wow!" Kat gasps, pointing behind Kyra. "Look! Is that the Goodyear Blimp?!"
Instead of turning around to see what it was, like Heero and Treize did, Kyra blinks. Then she blinks again. "...What's a Goodyear Blimp?"
"Just turn around and look, dumbo!" Kat dictated, getting frustrated with Kyra's stupidity.
"But...what's a Goodyear Blimp?"
"Are you telling me you don't know what the Goodyear Blimp is?"
"Ahh..." Kyra ponders that for a minute. "...I think so."
Kat falls down anime style.
Kyra looks down at her, confused. "Was it something I said...?"
Just then, everybody else shows up. Angel is still dragging Duo by the hair.
"Ow...ow...ow...ow...that hurts!"
Angel stares at Duo for a second, then she drops his hair. "Oh, I'm sorry, Duo!" she says, stroking his sore head. "Does that feel any better?"
"Mm," Duo sighs happily. "Now a little to the left."
Everyone glares at the two, sickened. Heero and Wufei have the most nauseated expression imaginable.
Kyra smacks her forehead (that is now a deep shade of red from embarassment), covering her eyes. "I shall never be near Duo and his girlfriends again, I shall never be near Duo and his girlfriends again, I shall never be near Duo and his girlfriends again..."
"Can't you two do that some other time?" Wufei asks, disgusted.
Can't you two do that some other place?" Heero asks, disgusted.
Can't you two just mind your own business?" Duo asks disgusted.
Can someone please help me?" Quatre screams, disgusted that everyone forgot to rescue him.
Ranma and everyone else stare at Quatre. When Ranma sees where they are he goes ballistic.
"Can anyone make him stop whining?" Veggie hissed (disgusted). "It's getting annoying!"
Dorothy, who woke up with a terrible headache from hitting the tree, finally shows up.
"I'll save you, Quatre!" the stupid pink monster says, pouncing up and hitting him. Quatre yelps, and loses his balance.
Ranma runs towards Quatre, screaming. "AH! THESE ARE THE CURSED SPRINGS OF JUSENKYO! QUATRE, DON'T TOUCH--
Splash.
"The water..."
Ranma and the others look in dismay at the disturbed pools Quatre and the koromon fell into.
"The koromon!" Dorothy gasps.
"Uh-oh..." everybody else says in unison.
"Oh my god! They turn into whatever drowned in that pool! QUICK, BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE!" Ranma screams, gesturing wildly at the water."
"Say what?" everyone else asks.
Fuu starts to hop around, agitated. "What are we going to do?! What are we going to do?!" she asks to no one in particular.
"Do not worry," Groonkbob says, puffing out her chest and trying to look like a super hero. "My pony Kyra will fish out the distressed Quatre from the watery depths!" Groonie proceeds to drag Kyra to the edge of the pool.
"For the last, last time, I AM NOT YOUR PONY! And I'm not going in that pool and be turned into...whatever!" shouts Kyra, running over to Fuu.
Groonie chases Kyra and Fuu around the pool that Quatre fell in with a pair of very sharp scissors.
Dorothy runs over to the pool, bending down to take a look. Suddenly a dark shape flies at her from the water. Dorothy screams.
Heero, Duo, Ranma, Inu, Kusanagi, Kat, Veggie, and Angel look at the mysterious girl that had shown up from nowhere.
In the background, Groonie is still chasing Kyra and Fuu around, so they don't see what's going on.
"Did I digivole?" The little girl asks herself.
She has pink skin, her ears are pink bunny ears, she is wearing a pink dress, and she has red hair.
Kat is stunned, wearing the same expression of disbelief the other seven are.
"Were you the little koromon that was here a minute ago?" Dorothy asks.
The little girl in pink only says one word: "Yes."
"AHHH!" everybody yells.
Dorothy stands up and hugs the not-koromon. "Are you all right?! Did those bad people hurt you?! Man, how big you got!"
"Who is she calling 'bad people'?" Inu growls angrily. "She should see my brother."
Veggie tilts her head. "I didn't know you had a brother," she says.
"What about me?! Why don't I get a hug?"
Everyone looks to see Quatre, sputtering, as he sits up in the water.
There is a deep silence. Even Groonie stops chasing Kyra and Fuu, and stares. Fuu and Kyra have also halted in mid-stride to drop their jaws.
"What?" Quatre asks. "What are you all--" he stops suddenly, noticing his voice is now much higher. It is a more femenine voice. He clamps his hand over his mouth, shocked. Swallowing hard and forcing himself to look, he stares at his reflection in the water. A beautiful, young blonde woman with a rather busty chest stares back at him. "AHHHHH!" Quatre leaps out of the pool, still screaming. "OhmygodohmygodOHMYGOD! What did you do to me, you ugly, pink little monster?!"
The little pink girl extracts herself from Dorothy's grip and runs off. Quatre chases after her in hot pursuit. "You are so dead! WAIT TILL I GET MY HANDS ON YOU! I'll kill you! I swear I will! I'll kill you with my bare hands!
"This is awful!" Wufei moans. "Being turned into a girl, what injustice!"
"HEY!" All the girls say at once.
Quatre, still chasing the little girl in pink, grabs the still-stunned Groonie's scissors, raises it as a dagger, and continues to follow the LGIP. "I'm going to kill you! I swear I will! I'll kill you with these scissors for the injustice that you've done to me!"
"Well...at least he's not crying about it," Kyra says, still shocked. "That's an improvement."
"But now he sounds like Wufei," Veggie groans.
"And what's wrong with that?!" Wufei asks incredulously. "There's nothing wrong with sounding like me, so there--AH!"
Splash.
The "AH" was when the LGIP blew past and knocked him into the water. The splash was when he hit the water.
"Agh!" Inu screams. "At this rate we'll all be turned into human women!
"That's not a problem with us women," Angel says proudly.
"Women rule," Veggie nods her head in agreement. "Women rule, women rule, women--ah!" Quatre blows past Veggie and now she is wobbling close to the edge of another spring.
Inu grabs her just before the hits the water.
Meanwhile, Heero, Duo, Kusanagi, Kat, Ranma, Fuu, Kyra, and Groonie (who wants her scissors back), are chasing Quatre and the LGIP so that no one else with fall into the pools. Dorothy yells at Quatre to stop, but Quatre is too mad at the moment to hear. (If you were a guy and got turned into a girl, you'd be mad, too.)
Quatre rounds a tree and is about to stab his tormentor, when Kusanagi knocks the scissors out of his/her hands. Duo grabs Quatre, keeping him back.
"Quatre, man, calm down!" Duo cries.
Quatre looks down at Duo's arm over her chest, and then back up at him, an angry blush building, turning her face bright red. "How could you grab me like that?!"
Duo immediately lets go, blushing as well. He suddenly remembers that Quatre is not in the same body she used to be. "I'm...I'm sorry, man! I forgot...I--I--hey, why am I calling you 'man' when you're not one anymore?"
Kyra hears what her brother said. She runs over and backhands Duo upside the head. "Baka! Watch what you say! You're only making it worse!"
"Am not!"
"Are too!"
"Am not!"
"Are too!"
"Am not!"
"Are too!"
Quatre-chan hugs herself tightly and slumps onto the ground, crying again. "It's not fair! I'm not a girl...I'm not, I'm a guy! This isn't fair..."
Seeing Quatre as a guy is hard enough, but as a girl it's heartbreaking. Her friends stand around her in an awkward silence, not knowing what to do.
"Told you so," Kyra hissed.
"Shut up," Duo hissed back.
What will happen next?! Will Quatre be a girl forever? ...He did always act like one, with that pink shirt he wears, and crying all the time. And what happened to Wufei? Is he gone forever (good riddance, who needs him?)? And will Quatre kill the LGIP or will Dorothy have something to say about it? Next time, on Kyra's fanfic!
(Note from veggie: in Ranma, Ranma is referred to as Ranma-kun and Ranma-chan sometimes. It's easier to distinguish which form he's in o_O just thought I'd include that here.)
