Kim's water broke Wendesday night at about 9:20pm, and Grant (QUICKLY) packed some bags and drove both across the bridge to Burlingame. Kim was already having light contractions 3 minutes apart, and they continued that way until the 12th at about 4pm. She was given fentanyl at around 6:30, and was administered an epidural 8:15. The nurse had us "practice" some pushing about 10:40, then when the doctor got there, she started pushing "for real" at around 11pm. 16 minutes later, we had our baby girl in our arms.
