Aims:-To sing a simple song with some control of breathing, posture, diction, dynamics and (most important) pitch.

Lesson Ideas.

• Go over the words of the first verse. Say the words in the rhythm of the song.
• Play the tune, get the children to whisper the words to the rhythm of the song.
• Sing the first verse.
• Repeat process for other verses.
• Add some percussion. Ask the children to make up a rhythm that will go with the song. Offer some help by asking them to play the rhythm of certain words of the song over and over.....
