Sing To Me Sweetly
Sing to me sweetly, cried the girl in her sleep
But let it not wake me, for fear of the day
Let me remain, in my sweet silent slumber
For this is the place, that I`m longing to stay
The maiden dreamt off, to a far distant meadow
Two lovers entwined, in a climax of bliss
Soft fragrant kisses, were blown with affection
No-one could break, such a strong love as this.
Then came a crash, and the roar of some thunder
The lovers, they parted, upon the sweet mist
The maiden awoke, once again in her room
No-one could face, such the emptiness of this
So, Sing to me sweetly, cried the girl in her sleep
But let it not wake me, for fear of the day
Let me remain, in my sweet silent slumber
For this is the place, that I`m longing to stay
