Using the insurance money after a neighbour had crashed into his motorhome, he built himself a super-computer. With large hard drives, loads of RAM and the fastest processor he could afford. And the video digital software he needed.

All this so he could begin editing the years of video diary he'd been taking. Including many live performances.

On Christmas Eve he had completed the project. A six part DVD series called "Rest In Peace" Grod Groddler.

As per the theme of "Diary Of A Millionaire", this was a musical tour of Grod's life, both as an entertainer and a busker. And what he was fighting in his life to keep going.

The amplifier ban, the singing too loudly ban, then relationship breakups that first gave a demise to his kids entertainment business, then his income as a busker with a series of threats and vicious attacks. Enough to cause him to quit busking out of fear, so those who had complained about the noise he made, could now "Rest In Peace" and effectively the character Grod Groddler killed off.

Over the New Year Celebrations in Bath, Grod then went around putting up the posters promoting this new work.

He then though both fell ill and went through a severe bout of depression, caused not only by his circumstances, but also the exhaustion. He'd worked non-stop sixteen hour days on the "Rest In Peace" DVD's project solidly for three months.

At the same period hiding away from the catastrophic fallout of the relationship, as reviewed in the "UNNOXXWWXX CD" that had now ended. But the carnage continuing.

The result of this was that Grod did not appear again in the City until March, when poor finances and much courage caused him to show his face again in Bath to busk.

The result of this was that people who knew him thought they'd seen a ghost.

The posters for "Rest In Peace" Grod Groddler had been seen, but then Grod hadn't been seen for weeks. Slowly the story had evolved that he had died, committing suicide.

It was known that Grod had a lot of problems to deal with and understandable how it probably all got too much. How he'd ended it all varied, one person even claimed to have read an obituary in a Yorkshire paper!

In the current reality, months later, due to further attacks, Grod was again rarely seen.

He still had the same problems as before, but added to that was his declaring himself bankrupt. That had been printed in the paper too, but there again it had been Grod's 40th birthday present to himself.

On making his previous CD "The Kitchen Sessions", a live acoustic CD, Grod mused that in fact he had tapes of concerts & rehearsals when he had played in various bands in his early 20's at college. "Arien Experience", "No Names Mentioned" and "Jabberwocky"

All these bands had featured somewhere in their set-list some of Grod's songs, and featured his lead and rhythm guitar and vocals.

It was playing with these bands and hanging out with the various musicians that had helped form Grod's own musical style. It seemed only fair to let the best of these recordings be aired. Along with other "live in concert" recordings, including the one-off "Grod Groddler & The Grodlings Gig." at Bath's Royal Victoria Park.

The CD title would also end any speculation that in his absence Grod had bitten the dust. "Grod Groddler-Alive & Well."

The CD-label also included a caricature of Grod done by one of Bath's street artistes.

As well as live performances, it also included tracks from Grod's CD's that have been performed live by his bands in the past, and tracks which would sound great if played live, and maybe one day they will.
