Old Age
Old Age, old age,
Old age, return to the child stage
Breaking down barriers
Formed through an age
Where you learn to behave
To protect the innocent soul
Getting ready for the big stage
Then turn to an old sage
And wisdom pass on
Instead old age, a return to the child stage
Regress to the womb days
Re-meet with your maker
Before all days begun
But this stage
You take back your wizened days
Memories of golden times
And times of such tears
But all seem so dear
To that blank page
Now filled in with love and rage
But it's last line nearly done
And the story complete
But this old age
Just like the young days
Just can't find my feet
Or make myself neat
I rely on
Someone
Someone to care for me
Someone to give love to me
Friends and family
Doctors and nurses
The joy and the curses
Of love and agony
Old age, old age
Old age, old age.
