The Revelation of Jesus Christ

Luke 21:22

This vile generation,
Shall not pass away;
Till all of the prophecies,
come to pass this way.

The terrible destruction,
spoke prophecies of old;
The downfall in A.D.70,
of
Jerusalem foretold.

"Heed my Revelation,
and hear this Apocalypse;
My judgment is sure to be,
cast upon the hypocrites.

"Know this affirmation,
and grasp the parallel;
Hear what John will say,
all I have to tell!

This vile generation,
shall not pass away;
For I am coming shortly,
and I will pass this way!"

Setting: Jerusalem,

First Century A.D.

Contrary to popular Christian

thought, the prophecies

(of tribulation, judgment, etc).

found in the Gospels do not

refer to a generation living

after this generation that

Christ spoke to (Matthew 24:34).

In fact, the 'coming' of the Son

of Man occurred before

that generation passed away!

But what was the 'coming'

that was referred to?

Daniel 7:13-14

In conclusion, the temple was

destroyed in A.D.70.  Jerusalem

was conquered by Rome.  The

Harlot was divorced.
