As you can have allready been able to tell I am a car person. I love my car, it is a '1972 LJ Torana coupe'. I bought it in March 2001 (The day I got my 'P' Plates) but it would be another two long months before I could actually drive it.

During those two months the car was striped, sanded back to bare metal, pannel-beated and resprayed. The colour of the car is 'Hume Green Metallic', the car was a standard coupe but was reworked to resemble an XU1 by the previous owner. This includes: XU1 interior and dash, XU1 paint scheme, XU1 Globe 13' wheels and XU1 exhaust mufler.

Recent improvements have included: pulling out the 138 (2.6 liter) red motor and replacing it with a 186 (3.0 liter) motor specially painted green, swapping the points ignition for electronic ignition, replacing the single barel stromber carburetor with a 350 Holley two barel carburetor with matching maniford and adding a 2.5' exhaust system accompanied by factory XU1 Headers.

In the future I am hopeing to add a 16' thermo fan, replace the camshaft and crank with xu1 style ones and add a yella terra head with roller rockers.
