DAVE KLINK'S M7 SNOW TRACTOR
Dave Klink's M7 is unusual in that it is red. In the pictures below you can see where the red has wore off there is white beneath. Well, after it's war years #217 decided to go in to public the service . It was taken over by the Milwakee  fire dept. ( hence the red ) and used as a rescue vehicle for years before being surplused to a fire museum in 1962 ( circa ). Dave's brother is an avid antique Firetruck collector and traded the museum for the Snow Tractor years later. "Red" now resides in his collection.
Having been kept in top shape by the fire dept. and the museum , the Klink's M7 is a really nice example of the tractor. As far as I and helpful others can accertain this is the ONLY red M7 out there. We have found 15 full and partial survivors ( including cut ups ) and I only mention this as I have seen on tractor forums and the like mentions of red M7'S on the web.
Hopefully, this clears up any confusion.
I would also like to mention the "Red" is mentioned in the book
BEER TOWN BLAZES , a book about fires in the Milwakee area.
