Cheese Crunchers


1 (12 oz) pkg Butterscotch Morsels
6 Tablespoons butter
2 Cups graham cracker crumbs
2 Cups chopped nuts
2 (8 oz) pkgs cream cheese, softened
1/2 Cup sugar
4 Eggs
1/4 Cup all-purpose flour
2 Tablespoons lemon juice

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine over hot (not boiling) water, Nestle Butterscotch Morsels and butter, heat until melted and smooth. Transfer to large bowl, stir in graham cracker crumbs and nuts with a forkuntil mixture forms small crumbs. Reserve 2 cups crumb mixture for topping. Press remaining mixture into ungreased 15 x 10 x 1 inch paking pan. Bake 12 minutes.

In large bowl, combine cream cheese and sugar, beat until creamy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Blend in flour and lemon juice. Pour evenly over hot baked crust. Sprinkle top with reserved crumb mixture. Bake 25 minutes. Cool completely; cut into 2 x 1 inch bars. Chill in erfrigerator before serving.

Makes 75 - 2 x 1 inch bars.
