Photos from my VIP Tour at the WB Studios in Burbank, California
2002
please do not take any photos on this page w/o prior permission.  thank you.
WB Studios Water Tower
Side of one of the many WB Studios Buildings
Outdoor Set: "New York Apartments"
(almost everything on the studios is constantly under construction...they're always changing, moving, and re-vamping sets)
Recognize this?  This is the Doc Magoo's restaurant where the doctors on the series, "ER" eat and take breaks.  The entire restaurant is on wheels and can be moved out of the way when filming for movies or different series needs to be done...almost everything here is on wheels...
See those trees?  That's where "Stars Hollow," the entire outdoor set for "Gilmore Girls" is located.  They were filming that day, so we weren't able to take a tour of the mini town.  However, I did see Lauren Graham's (Lorelai Gilmore) parking space and trailor, as well as Alexis Bledel's (Rory Gilmore) trailor.
This is me, standing by the hospital sign used on "ER."
The entrance to the emergency room used by "ER."  Did you know that they use mashed patato flakes for snow and milk mixed with water for rain?  Well, they have to show up on camera...
Me and my sister on one of the western sets.  I'm don't remeber exactly which movie or series this set was used for...
This isn't a set from the WB Studios...this is the new shopping center on Hollywood and Highland.  It has the biggest Sephora I've ever seen!  Let me tell you, I was mesmirized, and it's almost imposible to make up one's mind on what to buy.  Talk about sensory overload!!  :-D
Note: Photography was extremely limited at the studios...I wish I had more photos, but the guides actually lock up everyone's cameras until the time is appropriate for photos.  Copyright laws enforce such guidelines.
In addition to taking the WB tour, I also saw a live studio audience taping of the fifth episode of "8 Simple Rules" starring John Ritter at the Disney Studios in Burbank.  It was one of the most memorable experiences I've ever had!  Watching the actors perform in real-life was truly remarkable and soooo much fun!  During the breaks and between shots, there was a comedian who played trivia games with the studio audience and gave out autographed scripts as prizes.  Since one taping can be quite long, they actually fed us too.  Hehehe.  We were there from 4:00 in the afternoon to around 10 at night.  It was well worth it, and I highly recommend it to anyone. If you have questions on how to get tickets to a taping, feel free to email me.

Episode 5 - Title: "Son-In-Law" Synopsis: A sports-struck Paul lets Bridget do whatever she wants when she breaks up with Kyle and begins dating high school basketball wonder Travis The Rainman Smith whose father just happens to be Michigan baseball legend Steve Canned Heat Smith (Terry Bradshaw). Meanwhile Kerry resents the fact that Paul still thinks of her as a little girl and not as a budding teenager ready to take on the dating world. Airdate: 10/15/2002. Tape Date: 8/16/2002. Writers: Tracy Gamble & Martin Weiss. Director: James Widdoes. Guest Stars: Larry Miller as Tommy, Billy Aaron Brown as Kyle, Michael McMillian as Guy, Matt Funke as Travis and Terry Bradshaw as Steve Smith.
