| Week 5 (cont.) CHICAGO starring John Davidson as Billy Flynn DAY 4: Two show day #1 Matinee and Evening show both went well. Gregory invited me over to Non-Eq house again tonight. Of course, I imbibed in an Irish Car Bomb and then watched as he )very beautifully) mooned both Paul and myself. Ah! Actors! Gotta love em! Gregory was very huggy tonight. Every time I walked by, he pulled me into a humongous bear hug. He smells so good! There are days I definitely wish I wasnt marriedand tonight was definitely one of them. We watched Pam get extremely plastered by doing a keg stand. She didnt even come close to Linas record of 34 seconds, but considering the woman had already gone past her limit before shed gotten to the house, it was no surprise. We ended up pouring her into the double bed in the other non-eq house, where she subsequently passed out. After an Irish Car Bomb and three Caecilian kisses, Gregory, Adam and Adams best friend, Marina werent going to let me go home. I knew staying was a very bad idea. Luckily, I had brought chips and a couple of Mountain Dews with me. I sat and ate chips and drank the Dew until well after 4 am before Adam and Marina would let me leave. Even Paul was a bit concerned and asked that I call him when I got home. I got home safely and did call. It was a good thing I didnt have to be to the theater until after 6pm! DAY 5: I guess if theres anything to be said about drinking too much, I now know why its called a hangover! The show went well. There was yet another party after the show. This time, it was at Bobbys. We basically hung out and played a silly game called Fact or Crap until about 2 am. It was a very relaxed night. It was also very fun to sit a get to know a few of the people who were not on crew this season. It made me rather sad that I didnt take the time to get to know them earlier. DAY 6: Two show day #2 Our last shows. Both went extremely well. As has become my habit, I ran around between shows getting autographs. This time, I also got email addresses of those I hung out with over the past week. I stepped into the guys dressing room to get autographs from the boys. As I was walking out, I mentioned that I was really going to miss them all. Gregorys response was, Thanks Stacie! I stopped and asked, Who the hell is Stacie! You should have seen his face! He was totally embarrassed that he had called me the wrong name! I said, Fine, from now on, your name is going to be Igor! He laughed and said that would be fine, he deserved that. He even said that if I wanted to get back at him during the show, I could. But, being the professional that I am, I didntat least, not too badly. Instead of not having his spot come on at the end of the show, I just made sure that the spot flashed him in the eyes during the curtain speechHe understood. Once the show was over, there was an Afterglow party down at the City Caf again. I went and got the email addresses of those Id missed earlier. I talked with those I hadnt had much time to hang out withand I cried. Almost everybody, including Gregory (a.k.a. Igor), Paul and Lina were all leaving in the next 24 hours. I left before I got too depressed. |
