| The Reunion Was Great!
Thanks to Suzanne Respess for the great table decorations, George Hamilton for the GHS Class of 1974 sign and arranging food for the GHS tour, Cari Young Sauer for tracking down so many "missing" classmates, Mary Beth Given for check-in at Otters, Doug Scalf and Jim Record for arranging the golf outing, Kay Shrout with the "Reeling in the Years" display and paper work for the reunion, and everyone for helping with set-up including Mr. & Mrs. Respess.. All of their efforts made the reunion a reality. We had around 110 attend the mixer at Otters and 160 attend the VBC event. If you missed it, I'm sorry because you missed it! | Saturn V Project Still Needs Your Help It helped build Huntsville and brought a lot of us or our classmates here. A major project is underway at the US Space & Rocket Center to Save the Saturn V. Vanity plates are available in Alabama as one option to contribute. For $100 you can buy a brick with your name on it for the Apollo Walk. If you buy a brick, why not include GHS '74 on it? See Save the Saturn V for these and other ways to contribute to the effort. |
