you might wish to learn something about the person you are thinking of whispering to,maybe they share a common interest with you,or maybe you have talked on the main bar and seemed to 'get' along.left click on that person, a grey box will appear there will be the following options:
ADD TO FRIENDS,this is in some ways the most important thing.once you have got talking to someone and have found you get along you may wish to add them to your friends list,this means next time you log into worlds, if that person is on worlds, their name will appear on your friends list so if you want you can teleport to them and/or whisper to them.
EMAIL,is another feature,when you sign up to join worlds everyone has to give a email address,with this you can send a worlds-Email to that person,However you can not send files using this E-mail.
MUTE, if someone is harrassing you,being offensive or just plain getting on your nerves, you do have the option to mute them,this means any thing they type on the main bar can't be seen by you and they can't whisper to you either.they recieve this message from you if they try to whisper you.... Sorry, but I currently have you muted.
The only worlds members that can not be muted are worlds hosts.
WHISPER, click this to open a worlds whisper box so you can talk to one another in private,no one else can see what you say to one another in whisper not even the hosts (although i have been asked if we can).
VOICE CHAT, allows you to 'Talk to that person via a microphone,hooked up to your pc,this only works for VIP members.
PERSONAL INFO,if tha person has filled their info in it will give you a basic idea of what that person likes,dislikes,music tastes and occupation. |
