On Pern as it is described in the books, the main Farmerhall is located in Nerat. 
 
On Harper's Tale, the farmcraft has joined with the bakercraft.

They are hosted by Paradise Island Hold.

 
While the farmers do the regular farming work like plowing, seeding, harvesting and so on,
 
the crafters are the 'scientists' of farming. Breeding new and better specimens of plants,
 
improving techniques, and not the least - keeping the grub population on Ista high and widespread.

 
Farmers, though small, is a growing craft and we don't just mean the plants we grow either.
 
Join us today--learn what we do we'll water and fertilize you with the water and fertilizer
 
of knowledge and grow you into knowledgeable farmer journeymen in time.

 
Search Policy:  All apprentices including sr. apprentices are open to search,
 
with permission from any farmer staffer, but you have to have been in the craft 3 RL months /first/.
 
J-men and above are allowed with permission, but it's unlikely that permission will be given.
