Statistics, discography, recommended songs, pretty much anything involving some of Japan's most impacting singers. I am a big fan of Japanese pop/rock music, more commonly known as J Pop or J Rock (if you didn't already know). I mean, this is all I listen to. I get comments all the time because I hardly know what's playing on the radio...since I prefer Japanese music! In my opinion, it's better than American music most of the time...
Also, you'll find some people on here who are voice actors/actresses for anime. This is not uncommon at all. ^_^

Van is a very chipper person, from what I've seen (which is a considerable amount). She doesn't mind the multitude of fans dying to see her at concerts (especially at A-kon 15 in Dallas, TX), and is very lively for their concerts. She likes liquor ^^, and her recent hair cut is growing out! It's so pretty! Er...anyway, Van's voice has done nothing but improve over the years, although someone supposedly saw her smoking (lots of people do, but it makes us fans sad) She also writes the words most their songs.
Ryo Owatari

Ryo...can be a very whacky person (he's been dubbed "the crazy dude" by my nephew), and has a hell of a fun time performing with his guitar. You should see him when he performs his song "Tsurezure naru mama ni" live! So passionate! Ryo likes to have fun and encourage the audience, as does Van. Ryo now has is own separate band, called "MISSILE INNOVATION". I can't say he has much vocal talent, but we love him anyway.
Nagao Dai

Not much is known about Dai's personal life, and he likes to keep it that way. =) He doesn't really like publicity that much, being the brain of DAI and all. Dai is also the producer of a new band, "Amasia Landscape", under "TrueSong Music". (http://truesongmusic.com ; http://amasia.jp/) Actually, I still don't know if I have THAT straight, but there ya go.

DAI has many genres of music fused into their works...some of the more identifiable styles are pop, pop/rock, and punk/rock.
Ah, Do As Infinity, my pride and joy, my all time favorite J-group!! The first song to ever grace my ears was "Tangerine Dream", their first single released in September of 1999.
But, before that happened, Dai Nagao, an inspired musician who had formerly done the composing for a now disbanded group, was hired by none other than AVEX TRAX, and he had the chance to start his very own band. After several auditions, he decided on Van Tomiko and Ryo Owatari. After street performances, on September 29th, to celebrate and announce to Japan the release of their first single, they held a free concert in Shibuya.
Performances, promotional photoshoots, videos and interviews later, the public began to catch on after the release of their first album, "BREAK OF DAWN". The ball was rolling! DAI's popularity has been growing, especially after their 3rd album, "DEEP FOREST". Now with 17 singles and 7 albums under their belts, DAI is approaching their 5th Anniversary.
Sadly, Dai isn't really in the spotlight, because he'd rather focus more of his time on composing for the band. (But we want to see him!). His last appearance in a PV was for "We are.".
