A memory-photo by Eleazar Goodenough of his missing scrying inkwell. This memory-photo was made at the request of Grand Wizard Winkandnod immediately after the inkwell turned up missing, so that it could be identified if and when found. Eleazar threw in the memory of a quill pen from a former life, and added the blue background for "artistic effect." The original photo now hangs in Professor Goodenough's study at the Academy as a reminder of the events described in this book.
