Tom Tom (Thomas Patterson)

Tom Tom is a minor celebrity in Newtown. He owns and operates Patterson's Electronics, a very successful and innovative electronic engineering firm in Northtown just outside of the city, and is well known around the Metroplex for his companies Matrix adds which always features his smiling face. In reality Tom Tom is not a people person, an introvert by nature his natural expression is that of a slight scowl, as if he is constantly contemplating something unpleasant. He is a bona fide genius, having launched his small and obscure engineering firm into the limelight with his amazing ability to build upon Newcomer technology in programming technologies. Patterson Electronics is one of the premier software companies in the Metroplex, specializing in industrial applications, and operating systems. As a programming engineer, Tom Tom is perhaps the best matrix hacker in the city. When Kalvin discovered that he was one of the many thousands who were trapped inside the Arc when it shut down, they mounted a rescue operation aimed at freeing him from the hospital where he was slated to have his brain removed and examined. He has since then been an invaluable asset to the resistance.
